John D. Verlin is a Radio Marketing Master,
(RMM), a Rotarian and the author of The
Secret of Selling Yourself.
He is a twenty-five year professional
who has helped many businesses generate millions of dollars of new business with creative marketing ideas. He has a BA in
Mass Communications (radio/TV concentration) from Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas.
Mr. Verlin is a Paul Harris Fellow
in Rotary International, a benefactor of the Rotary Foundation and is a member of the Shawnee Mission Rotary Club.
He is past President of the Club for the 1999-2000 year. He is past President of The SAAB Club of Kansas City and is
a founding member.
He was awarded Account Executive of
the Month, for KCIY-KXTR Radio a record seven months in a row-including top salesman during annual Fire Sale contests in '97,
'98 & '99. He was also responsible for designing the media kit for the KCIY and KXTR radio sales force.
Mr. Verlin's specialty is script writing for broadcast production.
He has written over three-hundred radio ads-many of which have been recognized for superior production and results.
In completing the Radio Marketing Master Diploma Course-Mr. Verlin
first wrote How To Write Creative Radio Ads That Produce Results. The report was praised by course instructors as an
excellent source for advertisers to understand the basics of successful ad copy.
